Lakesha received her Master of Science in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Lakesha is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Bianca D. Goodrum, PhD, LPC-S. While pursuing her degree Lakesha began working with children and families in an agency setting dedicated to helping community members navigate grief. Lakesha has also worked in group homes, schools, and group private practice. Populations I serve are young adults, adults, and couples. Lakesha goal is to provide a space where you can express, learn, and challenge yourself. Lakesha will provide a non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate environment as we collaborate in the therapeutic process. No matter your concern, Lakesha will be here to help you move through it. Lakesha recognizes it can be scary to let someone into your world, but Lakesha hopes to be a safe and brave space for you to land. As your therapist, Lakesha will use a person-centered approach that focuses on a personalized fit for your needs, in combination with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
